GENERAL NOTES

Designed in 2390, Prescott Class Tugs filled a need for a new starship design that would serve the fleet for the next century. A rapid response ship lightly armed but equipped with adequate defenses to recover damaged, disabled or derelict vessels of almost any class or type. In a pinch, these ships can also mag-lock to cargo containers and be used as a transport, but can only haul one container. This class of ship is expected to have a lifespan of at least 80 years with upgrades and major maintenance done at 5-10 year intervals.
