GENERAL NOTES

The Midway-class starship, hexagonal in appearance with two semi-saucer protrusions out of the fore and aft faces, was constructed to give Starfleet the upper hand in combat situations. The Midway-class vessels would warp into a battle zone and eject her fighter squadrons, thus controlling the situation due to the sheer number of the fighters. Capable of carrying over 380 of Starfleet's Arquebus- and Aurora-class fighters, the Midway-class is well equipped for dangerous scenarios. Protected by durasteel armor, the Midway-class Carrier can take quite a beating before sustaining major damage. Her two warp nacelles are mounted flush to the port and starboard faces, rotated 90 degrees on their Z-axis, and are capable of propelling the vessel at speeds in excess of Warp 8. While armed lightly, the Midway-class Carrier doesn't need much to overwhelm her opponents.
