| GENERAL NOTES
The Dyson-class starship is responsible for a variety of missions as defined by Starfleet Command. Slightly smaller than a Galaxy-class starship, the Dyson-class starship is much more maneuverable. Ships of the Dyson-class have integrated bio-neural circuitry that allows for faster response time and higher efficiency.
Dyson-class starships boast a full compliment of equipment needed for intergalactic travel and exploration. While a Dyson-class vessel was built primarily for use in peacetime missions, it can prove to be a formidable weapon when used in either an offensive or defensive role. The Dyson-class starship's three nacelles are arranged in a triangle formation with one nacelle on the top and two on the bottom.

PROPULSION SYSTEMS
Warp Propulsion System (WPS)
- Type: Static Warp
Impulse Propulsion System (IPS)
- Type: Omni-directional Sublight
Transwarp Coil Drive System (TCD):
- Type: Experimental Borg Prototype
During the USS SUTTNER's first mission, the Borg installed an experimental Transwarp Drive system aboard the ship. In the process, one of the Dyson-class' three Warp Nacelles was disconnected from the Warp drive and integrated into the Transwarp Propulsion System (TPS). The Coil drive is faster than current Federation Transwarp Drives and allows the SUTTNER to travel at cruise speeds of up to 1200 light-years an hour, enabling her to cross the distance from the Alpha Quadrant to the Delta Quadrant in just three days.
Warp Speeds:
- Standard Cruise Speed: Warp 6
- Maximum Constant Speed: Warp 8.2
- Maximum Emergency Speed: Warp 8.7983
Transwarp Speeds:
