ARQUEBUS-CLASS Omni-Environment Fighter
Technical Specifications, Revision 05
Starfleet Corps of Engineering
| GENERAL NOTES The Arquebus-class Short Range Sublight Fighter is the pinnacle of Starfleet fighter research of the past decade. The Arquebus Fighter far surpasses its predecessor, the Jadzia-class Fighter, in every aspect. Technological superiority, however, is the Arquebus Fighter's forte. Fully incorporated into its design is biohull technology and bio-neural circuitry, as well as an experimental exterior coating which fools targeting sensors and limits visual identification. This coating gives the Arquebus a characteristic ebony color. Mixed with its sleek, atmospherically designed lines, the Arquebus radiates lethalness just by looking at it. The Arquebus Fighter's weaponry are also suitably enhanced. Its micro-torpedo launcher and third generation pulse phaser emitters were designed with inherent frequency randomization and auxiliary power support. Unlike its predecessor, the Arquebus is an omni-environment Fighter with the ability to perform in atmosphere and underwater as well as it would in space.
