As far as upbringings go, Tyrnyn had a very quiet life, typical of the majority of Klingons. Though he had his share of emotional roller coasters while growing up, there isn't much to define it per se.

Tyrnyn joined Starfleet at an advanced age after his marriage to his wife Amelinda. Though his love has always been analyzing and studying Klingon literature, he realized that he could not support the family Amelinda wanted on a scholar's wage.

He worked as an aide for several years, but after the birth of his children he decided to change to assisting in the ACT programme in order to spend more time with his family.

Personality:
Quick to laugh, but ordinarily quite quiet and timid, Tyrnyn was always the brunt of jokes when he lived on Qo'nos because of his decided aversion to 'normal' Klingon activities.

He is very patient and dependable, but has a tendency to daydream while on duty.
