PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION FAMILY INFORMATION

Height: 6'1"
Weight: 150 lbs.
Appearance: Solomon is of good height, medium build, with a distinctive black crew cut. His spots are very visible on the sides of his head. His grey eyes and dark hair combined with his pale white skin give him an almost sinister appearance.

Place of Birth: Darnest City, Trill
Citizenship: United Federation of Planets
Parents:
• Father: Tron, aged 72 (Research Scientist). Unjoined.
• Mother: Anari, aged 73 (Administrator for Symbiosis Commission). Was joined to the Uhia symbiont for sixteen years until that symbiont died of old age. It had lived thirteen lifetimes.
Siblings:
• Nikal (Starfleet Second-Year Cadet). Unjoined.
Spouse:
• None. Dating Dido Loftus, a Human translator working with Federation Bureau of Interstellar Communication, based in San Francisco.
Children:
• None. Arn's previous host, Jeliah (female), has one surviving daughter, called Korie, living on Gault.
Extended Family:
• Korie Gaelia, aged 68 - daughter of Arn's previous host. Korie married a Human merchant, but business went bad, and they became farmers on Gault, where she has lived for the past thirty years. Korie and Solomon have never met except at Jeliah's funeral, something Solomon feels more and more guilt-ridden about.
PERSONAL INFORMATION

Favourite Drink: Terran fruit juices, especially punches, but partial to Romulan ale.
Preffered Food: Altarian roast pheasant in Telaxian apricot sauce, when he can get it...otherwise fajitas, another Terran dish he has developed a taste for.
Hobbies and Interests: His job, funnily enough - Solomon derives a deep sense of satisfaction from a job well done. Off-duty time is usually spent with Dido, but when he has time, Solomon goes scuba diving. He has been to the Great Barrier Reef three times now, and is planning another week away in the near future.
Goals: To protect the Arn symbiont, no matter what. To lead a meaningful life, to learn from his mistakes, and through his teaching work, to prepare Starfleet cadets as fully as he can for their careers in space.

Solomon was joined with the Arn symbiont one month before he entered Starfleet Academy. His good scoring at the notoriously challenging Institute of Xenobiology on Vulcan made his entry possible. The Joining was slightly rushed because Jeliah, the old woman who was Arn's pervious host, died suddenly, and Solomon had to be rushed through his final few weeks of preparing for the Joining. His first year at the Academy was very difficult - Solomon had to absorb Arn's four lifetimes of memories and experiences while trying to concentrate on his studies. The struggle changed him; Arn's influence on his soul made him more resolved in his dedication to Starfleet and his work.

Upon graduation, Solomon's expertise in alien life was rewarded by a succession of research posts - after seven years in the fleet, he was assigned as Chief Science Officer aboard the USS ZEFREM COCHRANE. By this time, however, Solomon had lost his drive - the "pure" science of research no longer thrilled his soul, and he longed for another way of directing his energies.

That chance came with the opportunity to transfer to Starfleet Academy as an instructor - Solomon jumped at the chance to get out of space and to see Terra again.

He remains an affable, easy-going individual who likes nothing better than a good debate with cadets, to push their minds and talents.

Arn, the symbiont, has had four previous hosts, two male and two female.
