Comments: We will be doing this over a two-week period as we have a rotating seven period course load. Students see six of their teachers each day, with the seven carried over to the next day. I look forward to implementing this into my unit on Pi, as we celebrate Pi Day on March 14. This will be a great investigation using a variety of measurement and geometry concepts as well as literature (reading the book, The Librarian who Measured the Earth), writing (reflective journaling), and applying mathematics to our natural world.
