We measured the angle of the shadow on Wednesday, September 23 at 12:45 PM, which was only 4 minutes past solar noon for that day. We took the average of 3 measurements to arrive at an angle of 34 degrees. Our calculated Earth circumference is very close to the actual circumference of 37,680.
