We have used the Eratosthenes experiment as a focus to learn most of our Space and Measure Unit, including angles in a circle, Trigonometry, angles between parallel lines, similar shapes, not to mention the more basic topics of circumference and area of a circle and a lot about accuracy of a measurement.
