Language arts, Social Studies, Health/Family OVERVIEW: Everyone knows what a chauffer is. And we're all familiar with gas station attendants. But 80 years ago, before the automobile became popular, these jobs and job titles did not exist. This lesson plan addresses the problem of developing a good description while giving students the opportunity to discuss life in the future. Make up a job description for each. Then make up four (4) job titles and descriptions on your own.
